Having graduated in medicine from the Université de Montréal in 1996, Dr. Élizabeth Guay subsequently completed her rigorous specialization in dermatology at the same institution in 2001. She is an active member of the Collège des médecins du Québec as well as the Association des médecins spécialistes dermatologues du Québec — affiliations that reflect her unwavering commitment to the highest standards of current medical practice.
Dr. Guay began her professional career in private practice in Montérégie and the Lanaudière region, before devoting more than 20 years of her career to hospital settings in the greater Montreal area, as well as in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine. This rich and diverse experience allowed her to build a solid and versatile expertise in medical dermatology, while cultivating a deeply human, empathetic approach attentive to the specific needs of her patients.
Today, she thoughtfully divides her practice between medical dermatology in Lanaudière and private aesthetic dermatology at the māDermǍ Clinic. There, she meticulously performs the treatment of various benign skin lesions. Always mindful of the safety and comfort of her clientele, she favors precise technical interventions grounded in the best practices recognized worldwide. Known for her attentive listening, she takes the time necessary to analyze each patient’s expectations in order to propose a personalized, respectful, and optimal treatment plan for skin health.
